Introduction to Wayland-Protocols

The Wayland-Protocols package contains additional Wayland protocols that add functionality outside of protocols already in the Wayland core.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS 13.1 platform.

Install Wayland-protocols by running the following commands:

mkdir build &&
cd    build &&

meson setup --prefix=/usr --buildtype=release &&
ninja

To test the results, issue: ninja test.

Now, as the root user:

ninja install

Installed Directories: /usr/share/wayland-protocols
