Introduction to leptonica

The leptonica package provides softwre that is broadly useful for image processing and image analysis applications.

This version of BLFS may not build or run some packages properly if LFS or dependencies have been updated since the most recent stable version of the System V books.

Installation of leptonica

Install leptonica by running the following commands: 

./autogen.sh &&           

./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-static &&
make

The package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user: 

make install
