Introduction to EOG

EOG is an application used for viewing and cataloging image files on the GNOME Desktop. It has basic editing capabilites.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-8.0 platform.

Installation of EOG

Install EOG by running the following commands:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user:

make install

Command Explanations

--enable-gtk-doc: Use this parameter if GTK-Doc is installed and you wish to rebuild and install the API documentation.


Installed Program: eog
Installed Library: libeog.so
Installed Directories: /usr/include/eog-3.0 and /usr/{lib,share,share/gtk-doc/html,share/help/*}/eog
