SCons is a tool for building software (and other files) implemented in Python.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-7.10 platform.

Installation of SCons

Install SCons by running the following commands as the root user: 

python setup.py install --prefix=/usr  \
                        --standard-lib \
                        --optimize=1   \
                        --install-data=/usr/share

Short Descriptions

scons

is a software construction tool.

prints SCons .sconsign file information.

generates and displays SCons timing information.
