I've seen it all, I have seen the trees, I've seen the willow leaves dancing in the breeze Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens; Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens; I've seen a man killed by his best friend, And lives that were over before they were spent. Brown paper packages tied up with strings; These are a few of my favorite things. I've seen what I was - I know what I'll be I've seen it all - there is no more to see! Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels; Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles; I haven't seen elephants, kings or Peru! I'm happy to say I had better to do Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings; These are a few of my favorite things. What about China? Have I seen the Great Wall? All walls are great, if the roof doesn't fall! Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes; Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes; And the one I will marry? The home we will share? To be honest, I really don't care... Silver-white winters that melt into springs; These are a few of my favorite things.
