  Hello,

  here goes my christmas present - Iceberg final! Please refer to the NEWS file
for summary of what's new against elinks-0.3.2; basically it's completely
reworked options system, downloads resuming, colorful UI, hiearchic and XBEL
bookmarks, passive and IPv6 FTP support, mailcap support, http authentication
support. Also, the source tree looks a lot differently now, since we have now
the source splitted to a bunch of directories and more files than before. Also
the code is cleaned up and reorganized extensively.

  Against 0.4.0rc4, it's just swarm of tiny bugfixes and translation update
fairies. Please report any problems you will encounter - I will still try to
fix them for 0.4. But please don't expect any features porting between 0.5 and
0.4 anymore from me - I'm not going to do that anymore; if you want to, feel
free - send me patches and so on. If you would want to maintain 0.4 series for
some time and I know you and was happy with your contributions, you have a fair
chance to end up doing that ;-).

  BTW the contest about el- word ended up as ELusive - thanks for all your
contributions (it was difficult decision ;) and ideas and effort when thinking
about possible words! The response was great, much more than I anticipated.

  So, the main changes in elinks-0.4.0rc4 (from rc2, thus including rc3) are:

* Fixed selection of the first visible item in listbox by mouse
* Fixed strangeness with adding an item/folder to a listbox (ie. bookmarks)
* Hopefully fixed compilation on cygwin
* Fixed bug with timestamps not being set properly when overwrite mode was 1

* When you click at [+]/[-], the folder (un)expands
* Manual page updates

* Bulgarian translation updates
* Slovak translation updates
* Polish translation updates
* Danish translation updates
* Portuguese translation updates

  (note that this is a complete subset of changes in the 0.5 branch and I won't
repeat them there; thus, you may want to save this mail even if you are
tracking only 0.5 development)
