6.20.1. Installation of Tar

Prepare Tar for compilation:

CC="${CC} ${BUILD64}" ./configure --prefix=/tools \
   --build=${CLFS_HOST} --host=${CLFS_TARGET}

Compile the package:

make

Install the package:

make install
