Depending on your camera, enable the appropriate options and recompile the kernel if necessary:
Device Drivers ---> Multimedia support ---> <*> Cameras/video grabbers support [CONFIG_MEDIA_CAMERA_SUPPORT] <*> Media USB Adapter ---> [CONFIG_MEDIA_USB_SUPPORT] Select device(s) as needed
Install Cheese by running the following commands:
./configure --prefix=/usr && make
This package does not have a working testsuite.
Now, as the
--enable-gtk-doc: Use this parameter if
GTK-Doc is installed and you wish
to rebuild and install the API documentation.
