Introduction to Xfconf

Xfconf is the configuration storage system for Xfce.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-7.9 platform.

This package is known to build properly using the gcc-6 compiler.

Installation of Xfconf

Install Xfconf by running the following commands:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user:

make install

Command Explanations

--enable-gtk-doc: Use this parameter if GTK-Doc is installed and you wish to rebuild and install the API documentation.


Installed Program: xfconf-query
Installed Library: libxfconf.so
Installed Directories: /usr/include/xfconf-0, /usr/lib/xfce4/xfconf, and /usr/share/gtk-doc/html/xfconf
