The ptlib (Portable Tools Library) package is a class library that has it's genesis many years ago as PWLib (portable Windows Library), a method to produce applications to run on various platforms.
This package is known to build using an LFS 7.0 platform but has not been tested.

Install ptlib by running the following commands:
./configure --prefix=/usr && make
This package does not come with a test suite.
Now, as the root user:
