Introduction to JasPer
The JasPer Project is an
open-source initiative to provide a free software-based reference
implementation of the JPEG-2000 codec.

Installation of JasPer
The package source is distributed in
.zip format and requires unzip, but it has been
correctly packaged and will create the jasper-1.900.1 directory
when you unzip it.
