Introduction to Adwaita Icon Theme

The Adwaita Icon Theme package contains an icon theme for Gtk+ 3 applications.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-7.7 platform.

GTK+-2.24.26 or GTK+-3.14.8 with librsvg-2.40.7 or both

Optional

git-2.3.0, Inkscape-0.91 and Icon Tools

Installation of Adwaita Icon Theme

Install Adwaita Icon Theme by running the following commands: 

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user: 

make install
