Introduction to GNOME Logs

The GNOME Logs package contains a log viewer for the systemd journal.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-7.6 systemd platform.

appdata-tools-0.1.8, desktop-file-utils-0.22 (for the test suite), and docbook-xml-4.5, docbook-xsl-1.78.1, and libxslt-1.1.28 (to build manual pages)

Installation of GNOME Logs

Install GNOME Logs by running the following commands:

./configure --prefix=/usr &&
make

To test the results, issue: make check.

Now, as the root user:

make install
